D.O.P. (DI 2 ETHYL HEXYL PHATALATE)

General Information and Application

D.O.P. is a plasticiser manufactured by our company. It is known widely as di octyl phatalate or more specifically ad DI 2 ethyl hexyl phtalate and it is the most wide spread plasticiser of the PVC industry. It has a good low temperature flexbility and the extraction ratio with water, oil and soap solutions is low. D.O.P. imparts excellent trans parency to PVC articles and its heat and light fastness are good. The flexibility imparted to PVC is permanent the PVC resin plasticised with D.O.P can be processed by extrusion. Injection molding, calendering, roto moulding and spreading techniques. D.O.P plasticiser is totally compatible with resins as poly vinyl butyral, natural and syn thetic rubber, ethyl cellulose and nitro cellulose.
