V DRY Pb 24: 24% lead drier

Type:

The lead soap is a polimerisation catalyst. Varnishes and paint films dried with lead soaps are exhibiting an elastic structure. Aspect: Low viscosity liquid with yellowish colour. Density: 1.10 g/ml Refractive Index : nd 25oC 1.450 Metal Content : 24 % Lead metal Packaking: 215 kgs drums or 50 kgs Hdpe containers.

Application:

The lead driers by increasing the paints films resistance to rain water and sea water are considered very useful driers. Generaly they are used together with cobalt and manganese driers. Vatan Chemicals doesn't recommend the use of lead soaps in media where intensive sulphur fumes are generated. According to the customer's need we produce also lead driers with 30, 32, 33 and 36 % metal content.
