V DRY ZR 6: 6% zirconium drier

Type:

An auxilary drier preferred by paint manufacturers aiming to protect the environment from the toxic effects of lead driers. Aspect: Cristal clear liquid with low viscosity. Density: 0.89 g/ml Metal Content: 6% Packaking: Nett 180 kgs Iron drums or nett 50 kgs Hdpe Containers.

Application:

Zirconium driers are used in general with cobalt driers. They replace lead driers and a dosing of 75 % of lead is adequate. Care must be taken when using various alkyds to establish the drying time. Experimentaltests will help the exact metering. Vatan Chemicals draws the attention of the paint manufacturers to the fact that zirconium soaps have not wetting properties and calcium soaps must be used to ensure wetting. According to the customers needs we produce also zirconium driers with 12,18 and 20 % metal content.
