V DRY CA 4: 4% calcium drier

Type:

A co-drier without any drying power by itself but enhancing the drying effect of the active driers. Aspect: A liquid with very low viscosity, slight yellowish Density : 0.87 g/ml Refractive Index : nd 250C :1.440 Dry Content: 21.80 ± 0.5% Metal Content: 4% Calcium metal Packaking: Nett 170 kgs Drums or 50 kgs Hdpe containers.

Application:

Taking in consideration the toxic ecology of the lead driers paint manufacturers are replacing the totality or the big part of lead driers with calcium driers. Very satisfactory results are obtained when using calcium driers together with cobalt and manganese soaps. The calcium soaps are greatly preferred because their high wetting properties during pigment milling. The calcium driers produced by Vatan Chemicals are increasing the brightness and the hardness of the paint film. According to the customers needs we produce also calcium soaps with 5, 6, 8 and 10 % metal content.
