V STAB PV 100: liquid Ba-Ca stabiliser

Type:

A liquid PVC stabiliser containing barium, cadmium used in the extrusion, injection or calendering of various articles. Aspect : Amber coloured clear and viscous liquid. Density : 0.990-1.010 g/ml 20oC Refractive Index : nd 25oC 1.465 Packaging : Nett 50 kgs HDPE drums.

Application:

The liquid stabiliser V stab PV 100 produced by Vatan chemicals is totally compatible with plasticisers as D.O.P. D.I.D.P, D.O.A etc and plate-out cases are not encountered. When using extrusion techniques a metering of 2-3 % is adequate, external lubrication is provided by the addtion of 0.1 % stearic aud. The addtion of an epoxy plasticiser is recommended. When using calendering techniques a matering of 2.5 % of V STAB PV 100 is adequate the use of external lubricating and epoxy plasticisers is recommended. An optimum result is achieved when using V STAB PV 100 in 2 % ratio in injection molding. It is possible also to use about 10 % of a chlorinated auxiliary plasticiser without detrimental effects.
